 It just wouldn't load. It downloaded and set up well but then when it came to opening it just said error and shut down, so it didn't actually load.
A bit disapointed but can't really moan with it being free.

 I haven\'t so far had a chance to explore the full facilities of Font Xplorer, but I feel that it is going to be a very useful tool in graphic design.
 It does what it says on the box. It works perfectly. A realy useful little application. I can recommend it to anyone else.
Preeety neat tool. I think I would like to automatically see numbers also next tot he text instead of typing them in. Easier to see numbers and text next to each then.
 I uninstalled it because it doesn\'t display OpenType fonts.
 When i installed this program, all my fonts in windows went italic. I do not recommend using it at all, I removed it right after installing and found myself lucky to see the fonts return to normal.
Works as advertised. Unfortunately it didn\'t solve my problems with Windows Vista font handling.

Create a text in any installed true type font or a single line font and save the result as dxf file or G-Code file. So you can plot the font to use it for engravings with your NC machine etc. You only enter the text and click on "Save as DXF file...". The text will be saved as polygon line and arc information in the DXF file. The program ships with a couple of single line fonts.

MainType and Vista: guess I spoke too soon. Type1 fonts are uninstalled on shutdown. Looks like its back to ATM
MainType solves my Vista 'Type 1 font' problems. Type 1 fonts, which I have heaps of, were a problem to install on Vista. Now it's easy.

converting whole fonts easily I had to find a simple (Arial-like) but very narrow font (for button text of an application under development). I searched the Net for a free downloadable font -unsuccesfully. When I tried FontCreator, it took only 5 minutes to narrow original Arial, all the characters. Easy to use and powerful program.
 Very good. This program works well. I enjoyed creating all my random fonts.
